Florida Sales Tax Collection
407 Equipment Sales LLC is registered for Florida Sales and Use Tax. We collect Florida state sales tax and any applicable destination-county discretionary sales surtax on taxable orders delivered to Florida addresses. Tax is calculated automatically from the shipping destination and itemized in the order summary before payment.
Orders Delivered Outside Florida
Based on our current registrations, we do not collect Florida tax on orders delivered outside Florida. If we become required to collect tax in another state, checkout will calculate and disclose that tax before payment. A purchaser may remain responsible for use tax or other obligations where tax is not collected.
Tax on Shipping Charges
When applicable law treats a shipping charge as taxable, the automated tax calculation includes the taxable shipping amount and itemizes the resulting tax before order completion.
When Additional Fees May Apply
Customers may be responsible for additional charges in situations outside our standard delivery process, including:
- Incorrect or incomplete shipping address provided by the customer
- Missed freight delivery appointments or rescheduled windows
- Storage or holding fees resulting from customer-caused delivery delays
- Special delivery requirements not covered under standard shipping
- Remote-area or non-standard local delivery surcharges when applicable
Tax-Exempt Orders
If you are a tax-exempt organization, reseller, or government entity, Email support@407equipmentsales.com before placing your order. We will guide you through the process of submitting your valid exemption certificate. Tax exemption is applied prospectively — we are unable to retroactively remove tax from a completed order.
Pricing Accuracy
We work hard to keep all product pricing, shipping details, and tax information accurate at all times. If a pricing or tax-related error occurs, we reserve the right to correct the issue before processing the order. Customers will be contacted if any meaningful adjustment is required, and you will always have the option to accept the corrected total or cancel the order.
